The Meeting Place of Culture in Głusk
The Ratusz Sztuki in Głusk is a unique fusion of history and the future, of tradition and digital modernity.
Our goal is to transform this historic building into a vibrant cultural and social space, filled with artistic energy, social responsibility, and innovative technologies. The town hall will become a center of social integration, a place for intergenerational dialogue, and a platform for both local and international artistic initiatives.
Benefits
Cultural & Community Infrastructure
We are filling the gap in access to cultural and social space for the residents of Lublin’s districts, creating a modern venue open to all – from youth to seniors, from able-bodied individuals to those with disabilities.
Modernity and Digitalization
The town hall will become a modern center for digitalization and digital education. The introduction of high-speed internet will enable live streaming of events, online workshops and webinars, as well as cooperation with the Polish diaspora and international partners.
Social Integration and Community Activation
We are creating a place full of free cultural, educational, and community events such as art, music and theater workshops, career and legal counseling – all effectively counteracting social marginalization.
Social Economy and Employment
As part of the Ratusz Sztuki, we plan to launch a social enterprise – a café and an event service point. Jobs will be created here for people who are long-term unemployed, emerging from homelessness, or living with disabilities – who will become an integral part of the local cultural community.
Preservation of Cultural Heritage
The revitalization of the Ratusz is also a tribute to the history of Głusk – through the restoration of historic architecture and events promoting local heritage, we want residents and visitors alike to discover the rich past of this place.
